The Only Disability in this Life is a Bad Platitude (instead of Attitude) Tote Bag
A Platitude is "a remark or statement, especially one with a moral content, that has been used too often to be interesting or thoughtful". They are also superficial statements that are often repeated in difficult situations, but offer no real help to the person it is being spoken to.
While the platitude, "The Only Disability in this Life is a Bad Attitude" means well, it is dismissive to people with disabilities that have real challenges everyday. If my daughter has a good attitude, it doesn't mean that all of a sudden she can now go down stairs in her wheelchair (sometimes we have to go really far just to find a ramp or a way for her to get where she needs to go), or that she can now run and jump and play with her siblings, like she wants to.
That doesn't mean she isn't a happy kid, she really is, but her attitude is not what determines a lot of her challenges associated with her disability. To pretend that all anyone with a disability really needs is a good attitude, is really superficial and not helpful. I think this platitude is more helpful in allowing non-disabled people to comfort themselves and pretend like people with disabilities really have no extra challenges, and everything is fine, but that only helps them and not the people that have to hear this empty platitude over and over as if it offers a solution to all of their challenges.
